Published since 1992, Mining Informational and Analytical Bulletin is the lead-ing applied scientific magazine in the field of mining. MIAB features theoretical and practical information on mining and related fields of study: geology, ecology, construction technologies, engineering industry, economics and others.

State Certification Committee Department of Education included the MIA bulle-tin in the list of recommended periodical scientific editions for candidates applying for an academic degree in the fields of hard-rock mining, management, computer engineering, informatics and economics. The bulletin is book bound, hard covered and issued monthly, containing 424 pages. It is distributed mostly through sub-scription, compulsory mailing list, including mining companies’ management, research institutes and educational establishments.

Split press runs of MIAB related to specific region or subject are published on demand from regional organizations: “Yakutia”, “Far East”, “Kuznetsk Basin”, “Transbaikalia”, “Belarus”, “Mongolia”, “Aerology”, “Methane”, “Functional metallic materials”, “Safety”, “Material science”, “Coal mining safety”, “Mining machinery” and other.

• MIAB features articles on the latest developments and research, reviews of defended dissertations, conference and symposium reports, recently released book annotations and reviews. All of them are dedicated not only to above-mentioned fields but also to journalistic, historical and literary ones.
• MIAB covers the work of the annual symposium called “Miner Engineer Week”.
• Authors of MIAB are acclaimed academics, professors, mining compa-nies’ directors and engineers, experienced experts and young specialists from all over the world.
• Major libraries of Russia and CIS countries are subscribed to MIAB.
• MIAB is the most democratic magazine in the mining field in Russia.

You can subscribe to MIAB in any post office (the subscription code in “Rospechat” agency catalogues is 46466, for “Pressa Rossii” - 20983) or at the “Mining Book” publishing office. The subscription rate for 2011 year is 8676 rubles, taxes and postal charges throughout Russia are included. Some of MIAB issues are available in the “Mining Book” publishing house shop.

1. Статья должна содержать следующие сведения:
  • аннотацию (не более 300 знаков), ключевые слова на русском и английском языках;
  • фамилию, имя, отчество автора (авторов), полное название места работы с указанием почтового адреса, ученую степень и звание, телефон, факс, электронный адрес).
2. На первой странице рукописи проставляется индекс УДК.
3. Статья должна быть подписана авторами.
4. Плата с аспирантов за публикацию статей не взимается.

5. Все статьи ГИАБ рецензируются. Редакция принимает решение о публикации по результатам рецензирования. 

6. Рукопись статьи представляется в одном экземпляре в напечатанном виде с приложением копии (включая рисунки, подрисуночные подписи и таблицы) на любом носителе информации (дискете, СD, DVD) в редакторе Word.
